The Outpost Performance Space is located at 210 Yale Boulevard SE just two blocks south of historic Route 66, in the heart of Albuquerque’s thriving University & Nob Hill district. Seating 160 people, the Space, which is fully handicap accessible, features an informal but elegant feel. Outpost is proud to own a  beautiful 1961 Steinway Model B grand piano plus a collection of professional-quality instruments and equipment available for use by touring artists and youth & adult classes alike. The walls surrounding the audience comprise the Inpost Artspace which features the visual art of local and regional artists. The Outpost Performance Space is widely recognized as Albuquerque’s unique, member-supported, community-based, non-profit Performing Arts Center. In the Fall of 2011, after renting for 11 years, Outpost purchased its facility, taking the organization to a new stage of institutional permanency.

The Outpost Performance Space is available to rent for performances (by individuals and presenters/promoters) and also for classes, recitals, lectures, classes, workshops, receptions and so on. Call us at 268-0044 for information.

Parking

FREE parking is available in our lot on the south side of our building. If that lot is full, paid parking is available in numerous self-pay parking lots in the neighborhood — one directly to the North of the building (only $1 after 5pm); one just East of the Church; two which are 1 block north on both the East and West sides of the street; and a 5th lot at the NW Corner of Harvard and Silver. The Church to the North of us is generally amenable to folks parking there (free) unless they have put signs up that say “For Church Parking Only.” If they do that please respect their wishes as they are good neighbors. As a general rule, just follow all the instructions on the signs in the lots to avoid being ticketed, towed, or booted.
