The Fall 2018 season is in full swing (literally!) and tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m., it’s The Children’s Hour on KUNM, LIVE at the Outpost for the first time! Come be part of the fun! This fall, instead of doing our usual Autumn Fundraising Appeal, we decided to change things up a bit and do an Outpost Membership Appeal to Build our Membership Base!
Non-profit arts organizations like Outpost (where ticket sales account for 30-40% of annual income) depend on grants, sponsorships, tickets sales, donations and MEMBERSHIP to keep us healthy and thriving. Outpost currently has approximately 750 Individual Members who pay anywhere from $30 to $675 per year which is very impressive! It accounts for a significant portion of our annual income and we can’t do what we do without our loyal members! In return, members receive benefits which include discounts on tickets; newsletters and member updates mailed to their homes several times each year; opportunities to attend special “Member Only” concerts; and more! Meanwhile… a reminder that we are still collecting donations for our CD/VINYL/MUSIC BOOK FAIR TO BENEFIT OUTPOST! – which will take place at Outpost on November 17! We will accept CDs, all kinds of vinyl, books on music, sheet music, etc. (all in good condition, of course). For every ten items donated you will receive a $5 voucher to be used at the fair!
